There's a clip of THAT free kick doing the rounds that was filmed by a Palace fan behind the goal. It's on the Benchwarmers Facebook page, too.
If you can find it, listen to their reactions as they think it's going over but then miraculously dips under the bar.

Payet's free kicks were ordinary before he read that...
But he can do better.
I read it, and my free kicks orbit the keeper three times, coming as close as a football can to taking the piss, before they hit the back of the net.

Troy, it was only partially gravity. There's also the Magnus effect caused by the side spin of the ball, which comes under Newtons Third Law of motion. So you have Payet showing an example of two Newtonian laws; the Third Law of Motion and the Law of Gravity.

The free kicks against Russia and now CP have proved a wall is pointless. The ball clears the wall by miles, so do away with it.
What do you do with all those players? I hope we've talked about this because a team will do this now wall, rush players back onto the line?
I spoke with a coach over the w/e and he said he didn't know what to do.
